Cookie & Storage Policy

Understand what stays in your browser.

A practical guide to authentication storage, preferences, the installed app and optional analytics.

Last updated

Necessary authentication storage

Firebase uses browser storage to maintain authentication sessions. Consent choices are saved in trade_diary_cookie_consent. Signing out changes authentication state; clearing browser storage can remove access to a guest identity.

Preferences and PWA assets

trade_diary_theme remembers Light, Dark or System. Form settings and drafts may be saved by journal features. The installed-app service worker stores safe static assets and its offline screen, never private API or Firestore responses.

Optional analytics

Microsoft Clarity analytics cookies, including _clck and _clsk, are optional. Analytics is off until consent is given and is restricted to public pages. You can change consent using the preferences control below. Withdrawing consent stops tracking; previously created cookies may also be removed through your browser settings.
