Information used to provide the journal
Firebase Authentication processes sign-in identity, including email and profile information provided through email/password or Google sign-in. Firestore stores journal records, preferences and account metadata. Uploaded screenshots use Firebase Storage. Do not upload passwords, access tokens or unrelated sensitive information.
Access and guest identities
Journal access is associated with your Firebase user identity. Authorized administrative tools can access operational records, including trade summaries. Guest identities are anonymous authentication accounts, not guaranteed temporary sessions. No automatic 30-day cleanup promise is made.
Optional analytics
Microsoft Clarity is loaded on public pages only after analytics consent. Private journal, authentication and admin pages are excluded. Previously loaded tracking is stopped when consent is withdrawn or navigation leaves a public page. Microsoft processes analytics under its own terms; do not enter private journal content on public pages.
Browser storage and installed app
Authentication persistence and UI preferences use browser storage. Consent settings are stored in a cookie and local storage. The PWA cache holds only an offline screen, app icons and versioned static code/font/style assets. It does not cache authenticated pages, API responses, trades, profiles or Firestore responses.
Retention and deletion
Records remain stored until removed through supported controls or a processed removal request. No fixed automatic expiry or guaranteed deletion time is stated. Review the data-deletion page before requesting account removal.
